On the occasion of the upcoming Loewe Foundation Craft Prize, to be held in Madrid on 29 May, we invite you to a special meeting to meet the two Spanish artists who have been shortlisted for this year's edition. Organised by galleries Isolina Arbulu and Yusto Giner, the event will feature Marie Isabelle Poirier Troyano and Empar Juanes, selected for their outstanding careers and unique contribution to the contemporary crafts scene. Marie Isabelle Poirier Troyano stands out for her bold and experimental textile work, in which tradition, technique and innovation come together. Empar Juanes, for her part, investigates the limits between jewellery and sculpture, exploring the body, volume and the relationship between form and space. This will be a unique opportunity to hear the artists talk about their careers, their creative and technical processes, and their vision of their craft. |
