From 27 February to 28 March 2026

Tamara Kreisler Gallery

Calle Hermanos Álvarez Quintero, 6, 28004 Madrid

The Isolina Arbulu Gallery in Marbella and the Tamara Kreisler Gallery in Madrid are jointly presenting the exhibition ‘Fragmentos Binarios’ (Binary Fragments) by artist Jaime Velázquez (Cádiz, 1987) in Madrid. The exhibition is part of the run-up to Madrid Art Week, offering a preview of the upcoming exhibition calendar. ‘Fragmentos Binarios’ is presented as a pictorial exploration that investigates the connections between artistic creation, the unconscious and artificial intelligence. Velázquez takes a critical, but non-moralising, approach to the algorithmic systems that silently influence our current perception of the world. The artist draws a parallel between the functioning of AI, which generates images from human instructions without consciousness, and dream processes, where information is reorganised without following a linear narrative logic. This reflection also relates to the concept of the “cognitive anaconda”, which refers to how algorithms create bubbles that limit and reinforce certain visions of reality.
