I began the practice as something equivalent to an exercise in longing and a vain search for a place in which to put down roots, which led me to my current concern for the materiality of such places. I choose to analyse these spaces and times through the constructions they contain, their history (tiles, archaeological tastings, paintings, forms) and what the industrialised decorative designs reflect. In this way, I invite a more complex and less banal reflection on their appearance. Specifically, my focus is to create entities that contain the memory and affections of the materials used in the practice of inhabiting domestic spaces, intervening in the space from a plastic and sensitive experience.
