Overview
Through textile art, I weave layers of fabric, thread, and translucency to evoke the fragility and persistence of remembrance. Stitching and mending become acts of repair and connection, gestures that seek to preserve what is fading.
Blanca Nieto is a visual artist whose work explores memory, time, and absence through textile art. Using fabric, thread, and translucent layers, she creates delicate compositions that evoke the fragility and persistence of recollection. Her practice merges technical precision with emotional depth, transforming stitching and color into acts of care and reflection. Nieto holds a Master’s in Design and Illustration from the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia and has exhibited internationally at fairs such as Estampa, Just Mad, Art Rio, and SP Arte.
