Handle with care, Angélica Arbulu - Black Room

With a long career as a photographer, Angélica explores in this new work the delicate transition of adolescence. Her approach invites us to contemplate the fragility of those who find themselves between childhood and maturity, initiating a conversation about the generation marked by social networks and the pandemic.

 

This exhibition represents a natural continuation in the career of Arbulu, who has dedicated her career to exploring themes of identity, gender and belonging. In this latest work, the photographer delves into the delicate transition of adolescence, capturing moments of vulnerability, resilience and self-discovery.


Through careful intervention and manipulation of her photographs, Arbulu blurs the boundaries between the visual and the tangible, creating works that transcend mere representation to become powerful testimonies of human experience. Each meticulously composed image becomes a visual narrative that invites reflection on the complexity of modern life and the tensions we face as individuals and as a society.
