Overview

In Points of Arrival, Insung Lee turns his attention to the moments that rarely become part of the stories we tell about our lives.

In Points of Arrival, Insung Lee explores the moments that shape our lives beyond their obvious milestones: the uncertainty, memories, emotions and quiet decisions that accompany us along the way. Working with layers of oil on canvas, he creates scenes suspended between memory and imagination, where figures and gestures emerge without revealing a complete narrative. Small orange points recur throughout his paintings like coordinates on an invisible map, suggesting transition, possibility and personal interpretation.

Lee reminds us that what matters is not only where we arrive, but everything that brings us there. His paintings invite us to look beyond beginnings and endings, towards the often overlooked moments in between, leaving space for each viewer to bring their own experiences into the work.

Presented in collaboration with Korean gallery AN INC, Points of Arrival marks Insung Lee’s first exhibition in Spain, opening a dialogue between different artistic and cultural perspectives.

Perhaps every point of arrival is also another point of departure.
