Additionally, he has enriched his knowledge in printmaking engraving photographic and multimedia processes in various European cities such as Lisbon, Devon (England), Edinburgh and London.
His artistic creation is characterised by the fusion of architecture, design, photography and art. Throughout his career, González has played an active role as a lecturer at the University of Seville, maintaining his link with the institution since the end of his career.
In his works, generally organised in series, the artist reflects on the ways of inhabiting the contemporary city, twenty-first century lifestyles and the complex relationships that human beings establish with their environment. Mostly composed of photographs taken in situ, González digitally modifies these images in his studio, carrying out a process of reinvention of suburban landscapes that are not without a certain baroque quality.
