Claudia Torán's artistic approach lies at the intersection between the visual arts and music, where she explores the dynamics between image and sound. Although painting is her primary medium, Claudia is constantly looking for synergies with other disciplines, recently dabbling in ceramics, to create multidisciplinary projects.

Fusing her passion for illustration and sound into innovative works that defy convention and captivate the viewer.

Claudia Torán (Valencia 1991) has emerged as a leading figure in the art world. Her artistic journey began with a solid academic background in Fine Arts at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, where she obtained her BA in 2014 and her MA in Design and Illustration in 2015. Deepening her practice, she completed a PhD in Fine Arts with cum laude honours in 2018, exploring the role of illustration in the recording industry with an originality and depth that captured the attention of the art world.


In her quest to expand her creative horizons, Claudia obtained a Post Graduate Degree in Sound Art at the Universitat de Barcelona in 2021, consolidating her understanding of art in multiple sensory forms and exploring new dimensions in her work.


Over the years, Claudia has captivated audiences with a series of solo and group exhibitions in renowned galleries in cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, New York and London. From her first exhibition in 2012 to her most recent show in 2024, Claudia has left a lasting impression with works that explore themes of identity, heritage and personal expression.


In addition to her exhibition work, Claudia has shared her experience and knowledge through lectures and workshops around the world, from the Xarkis Festival in Cyprus to her alma mater in Valencia. Her commitment to artistic exploration has led her to participate in various artist residencies, providing her with enriching environments for experimentation and creative collaboration.
Through her work, Claudia continues to challenge the boundaries of contemporary art, fusing form and media to create experiences that provoke profound reflections on the human condition and modern society.
