“Folded Souls” by Marie Isabelle Poirier Troyano is an exhibition where textile transcends surface to become memory, gesture, and transformation. Through folds, stitching, dyeing, and Japanese Shibori techniques, the artist creates works that explore fragility, time, and the invisible traces that remain within materials and within ourselves. The exhibition brings together textile sculptures and wall pieces where craftsmanship and contemporary language continuously interact. Among them is “Feelings” (2024), finalist of the Loewe Foundation Craft Prize 2025, previously exhibited at the Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza. Exhibition at Galería Isolina Arbulu, Marbella.
