In his aerial photographs, Thomas Dressler transforms the Andalusian Wetlands into a composition of colour, texture, and form. Seen from above, familiar territories lose their conventional scale and perspective, revealing unexpected geometries and patterns that often verge on abstraction.

Using the drone not simply as a technical device but as a way of seeing, Dressler invites us to reconsider our relationship with the landscape. Roads, fields, coastlines, water, and traces of human intervention become part of a new visual language, suspended between photography and painting.

His images encourage a shift in perspective: a moment of distance in which the recognizable becomes unfamiliar, and the landscape reveals structures and rhythms that remain invisible from the ground.
