Overview

Through painting, I explore the invisible landscapes of the mind, where emotions, memories and personal experiences take shape

Laura Ray’s artistic practice explores the inner processes that shape our emotions, decisions and personal growth. Through painting and drawing, she seeks to translate the invisible landscapes of the mind into a visual language that moves between figuration and abstraction.

Her compositions bring together soft colour palettes, geometric structures and natural elements, creating intimate spaces where psychological and emotional experiences find visual expression.

Drawing on personal reflection and observation, Ray approaches art as a means of self-discovery, inviting viewers to recognise fragments of their own experiences within her work. Her paintings become spaces for contemplation, exploring the relationship between our internal worlds and the realities we construct around us.
